The United Methodist Students travel
to local Idaho and Treasure Valley UM Churches leading worship
with praise singing led by our own praise band, original liturgies
written by students, and original sermons preached by students.
No part of the service is edited. The
students are given the freedom to express themselves exactly as
they wish given where each individual is on his or her spiritual
journey thus far.
Worship services are an excellent way
to promote the students' ministry and gain support from local
UM Churches.
The worship services offer congregations
the opportunity to share in ministry by making a financial contribution
to help support the future of the United Methodist Student Movement
and United Methodist Church.
The praise band leads worship with
contemporary worship songs. Many of the songs are also originals
by the groups own upcoming Christian singer/songwriter, Liao Michels,
who is lead vocalist and plays guitar.
Worship services offer each student
a chance to use his or her spiritual gifts and minister
to others while growing personally in their faith journey
and church leadership capabilities.
